UČESTALOST BRONHIOLITISA KOD DOJENČADI LIJEČENIH U KLINICI ZA DJEČIJE BOLESTI BANJALUKA U SEZONI 2022/2023

Sažetak:
Cilj istraživanja je bio utvrditi i analizirati kliničke i epidemiološke karakteristike dojenčadi s dijagnozom bronhiolitisa liječene u Klinici za dječije bolesti Banjaluka u sezoni 2022/2023. godine.
Metode: prospektivno- retrospektivno smo analizirali podatke iz medicinske dokumentacije.
Rezultati: u periodu od novembra 2022. do kraja februara 2023. godine u Klinici za dječje bolesti Banjaluka, liječeno je 81 dojenče. Od toga broja kod njih 19 je dokazan respiratorni sincicijski virus (RSV). Više su oboljela muška djeca. Najviše oboljelih je bilo u januaru 2022. godine. Mediana starosti je 2 mjeseca života.
Zaključak: Infekcija RSV virusom otežava kliničku sliku i prolongira dužinu trajanja liječenja. Obzirom da se se radi o infekciji na koju se može preventivno djelovati primjenom Palivizumab smatramo da postoji opravdano proširenje indikacija za njegovu primjenu kao mandatorne vakcine u Republici Srpskoj.
